The change of seasons is upon us. Second waves of summer produce are coming in from some producers while others have moved ahead with planting and harvesting a few later season crops. We are still seeing a great variety of summer into fall, local, seasonal, beautiful and delicious fruits and veggies.
Today Stuart Farm will be with us. Serena will be bringing a variety of pork and chicken cuts from their heritage breed (non GMO, grass fed) pigs and chickens, as well as ground beef from the American Milking Devon beeves. She also has pastured eggs. Colby of Farrar Out Farm will be taking orders and deposits for your holiday turkeys. He also has a variety of non GMO, grass fed beef, chicken, pork and lamb cuts as well as eggs and some organically grown produce. Eckenfel family farm and Alpacas of Troy will also be with us today. Alpacas of Troy features their International specialty sausages, a variety of pork cuts, limited amounts of alpaca and goat meat as well as Alpaca fiber crafts and yarn.
The Ringhausen’s will continue to bring peaches and plums until those fruit trees stop bearing. The variety of pears and apples will continue as well as jelly and their famous apple cider. Dan of Blue Heron Orchard (certified organic) has started back as a vendor and will have a beautiful variety of heirloom tomatoes, pole beans, first of the season Gala apples, Poblano peppers and a few other goodies! Ivan still has fresh figs! He will have a variety of produce and Bulgarian yogurt as well.
Three Rivers Community Farm will be adding winter Delicata squash to their list today, in addition to their beautiful variety of local, seasonal produce. Rosy Buck Farm along with Flower Hill Farm always has stunning fresh cuts flowers, and a unique variety of sustainably grown produce as well as sprouts, herbs and foraged culinary surprises. Be sure to visit Three Girls and a Tractor, Levi at Living Acres, Buila Family, Mary Ellen of Weidner Farm, and Sea Jay (daylilies) for the freshest, local, seasonal produce, honey and plants available. I believe Mary Ann will have fresh edamame today. Levi has radishes, beets and spicy greens. Will John have sweet corn and melons today? Stop by and find out!

El Chico Bakery has a variety of fruit filled empanadas, giant cookies and traditional Mexican pastries. Visit Red Guitar bread for wood fired, sourdough, artisan loaves that include focaccia, batards, miche and baguettes. Vicini Pastaria will be bringing Caprese ravioli, Sweet Corn and Lobster ravioli, Brisket Mushroom Ragu and Tiramisu today.
Specialty and artisan foods today can be found at Larder & Cupboard, Baetje Goat Cheese and The Tamale Man. Find award winning preserves, house made butter, fruit crisps, Marcoot and Ludwig cheeses, whey slushies and more at the Larder and Cupboard tent. Baetje Goat Cheese has a variety of fresh and aged award winning goat cheeses. The Tamale Man serves fresh made and frozen tamales (pork, chicken, vegetarian) with a variety of sauces. The Tamale Man family has a certified organic farm and produces almost all of what goes into those handmade tamales!
