SNAP Cards and Matching Funds

The Schlafly Farmers Market has a limited amount of funds to provide “matching dollars” when shoppers use their SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program) assistance monies at the market. The matching dollars can only be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. The matching program makes local, seasonal, healthy food is more affordable as it extends the SNAP benefits.

The match on SNAP is $1 for $1 up $25/week/customer at the market.
