See You At The Market

In case you missed the Schlafly Farmers Market Facebook post last week, the holiday market dates are set. Saturday November 19th, Saturday December 3rd and December 17th. The hours will be 8am-1pm. We will have market vendors in the Crown Room as well as our heated patio area. Look for local artisans, locally branded food items, cheeses, baked goods, meats, produce and more.

Our last day of the regular Wednesday market season will be October 26th. I hope you will continue to support the vendors and keep our market lively during the last few weeks as it gets a little darker and the fall season really kicks in. They work hard to get everything harvested, cleaned, processed, baked, put together, packed and transported to get it to us each week…let’s show our appreciation and support!

Market begins at 4pm and we request that no purchases are made until the bell rings. The vendors roll in to set up in shifts. Some arrive up to one hour earlier than others and they all need and appreciate the uninterrupted time given to get their space ready for you.  We appreciate your cooperation.

Please take the opportunity to come visit the market and support the vendors.

These are the long days of transition. We are still in the late summer harvest and the beginning of fall produce. The seasonal summer produce is slowly coming to an end. The last tastes of sunshine and hot weather!! And fall is just around the corner. The days are getting shorter. We have apples, cider, pumpkins, ornamental gourds, winter squash as well as late tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and maybe some melons.

We will continue to host the University of Missouri Extension Nutrition department. They will be visiting with us throughout the market season sharing information about local, seasonal, food, healthy and nutritious food options, recipes and more. Visit the site Family Nutrition Education Program

Join us at the Market, 4pm-7pm.
Enjoy live music, complimentary Schlafly beer samples and a great line-up of vendors.
We will try to keep you updated and posted on who will be at the market from week to week. Visit the website or Facebook page for updates.
