The Beginning of a New Season

I am looking forward to the 2016 regular market season. I hope you will join me each week to support the market vendors that bring just picked, local, seasonal, fresh produce, artisan food items, pastured raised meats, eggs, honey, cheese, baked goods, herbs, flowers and more. Enjoy a great community event in a unique space every Wednesday, 4-7 p.m, April thru October

Let me briefly introduce myself. My name is René Sackett and I am the new market manager. I have been a market manager in far West St Louis County (Ellisville and Wildwood) for the last several years. I am excited to become a part of the Schlafly Farmers Market. This market has had great support from the community and I look forward to continuing that tradition bringing in my own energy, commitment and passion to local food.

I am still learning the ropes; using the tried and true protocols and adding in my own elements. Thank you in advance for your patience and encouragement.

Please visit the website, check out the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram market pages. Please “Like”, “Share”, “Retweet” and whatever else you do to make the market shine on social media.

There will be a 2016 Market Vendor listing on the market website. I will keep it updated as new vendors apply. Please keep in mind that not all vendors will be at the market every week.

I have created a new market website page. It is called “Keep it Fresh.” I will be posting weekly updates on vendors, hopefully a market report of what produce will be at the market, special events and other market happenings.

Below is a listing of vendors that are scheduled to attend the market on April 6. It may change by market time.
